Understanding Your Study Plan

Your personalized study plan is your roadmap to passing the real estate exam. Here's how it works.

How Your Study Plan Works

After completing your baseline assessment, we analyze your performance across all exam topics to create a personalized study plan. Your dashboard displays your topics organized by performance level:

Priority Focus Areas (Below 60%)

Topics where you need the most work. Focus your study time here first.

Room for Improvement (60-74%)

Topics where you have a foundation but need more practice to reach mastery.

Your Strengths (75% and above)

Topics you've mastered. Maintain these with occasional review.

Viewing Your Study Plan

Your study plan is displayed on your Dashboard after completing your baseline assessment. Click anywhere on the study plan section to see the full details, including:

  • All topics organized by performance level
  • Your current accuracy percentage for each topic
  • Practice buttons to start a focused 20-question exam on any topic

How Topic Scores Update

Your topic scores show your most recent performance on each topic, not a historical average. This means:

  • If you score 100% on a topic exam, that topic immediately shows 100%
  • Your dashboard always reflects your current skill level
  • Improvement is immediately visible after each practice session

Pro Tip: Focus on one weak topic at a time. Take the 20-question topic exam, review the explanations for any wrong answers, then retake it until you score 75% or higher.

Using Your Study Plan Effectively

  1. Start with your weakest topics - These have the most room for improvement and will boost your overall score the fastest.
  2. Take focused topic exams - Each topic has a "Practice Now" button that launches a 20-question exam focused only on that topic.
  3. Review explanations - After each exam, review the detailed explanations for every question, especially the ones you got wrong.
  4. Repeat until mastered - Keep practicing each topic until it moves to the "Strengths" category (75%+).
  5. Maintain your strengths - Occasionally review strong topics to keep them fresh.

FAQ

Why did my topic score go down?

Topic scores show your most recent exam performance. If you scored lower on your latest attempt than before, the score will reflect that. This is by design - it shows your current skill level rather than your best historical score.

How do I move a topic from "Needs Work" to "Strengths"?

Take the 20-question topic exam and score 75% or higher. The topic will automatically move to the Strengths category on your dashboard.

Can I skip the study plan and just take full practice exams?

Yes! You can always take full practice exams from the Exams page. However, focused topic practice is more efficient for improving weak areas quickly.
