What is a Baseline Assessment?
Your baseline assessment is a comprehensive test that mirrors the format of your state's real estate exam. It evaluates your knowledge across all 9 exam topics to identify your strengths and weaknesses, then automatically generates a personalized study plan.
Don't stress about your score! The baseline is meant to show where you are now, not where you'll be on exam day. Most students see significant improvement after using their personalized study plan.
What Happens After the Baseline
Once you complete your baseline assessment:
- Your study plan is created - Topics are organized by performance: Priority Focus (below 60%), Room for Improvement (60-74%), and Strengths (75%+).
- Dashboard updates - Your dashboard shows your personalized study plan with all 9 topics and their scores.
- Upgrade to continue - Subscribe for $9.99/month to unlock unlimited topic-specific practice exams.
Baseline Exam Format
- Same number of questions as your state's actual exam
- Same time limit as the real exam
- Questions from all 9 exam topic areas
- Multiple choice format (A, B, C, D)
- Randomized answer order (so you can't memorize positions)
Tips for Your Baseline
- Take it seriously - Answer as if it were the real exam for accurate results
- Don't study beforehand - The goal is to see your current knowledge level
- Complete it in one sitting - This gives the most accurate assessment
- Make educated guesses - Don't leave questions blank; eliminate wrong answers and guess
After Your Baseline: Using Your Study Plan
Your baseline creates your initial study plan. After upgrading to a paid subscription:
- Go to your Dashboard to see your study plan
- Click on the study plan to see all 9 topics with "Practice Now" buttons
- Start with your weakest topics (Priority Focus areas)
- Take 20-question topic exams to improve each area
- Your topic scores update based on your most recent exam performance
Goal: Move all topics to 75% or higher before taking your real exam. Use topic exams to systematically improve each weak area.
FAQ
Is the baseline really free?
Yes! The baseline assessment is 100% free. Create a free account, take your baseline, and see your personalized study plan - all without a credit card. You only pay when you're ready to unlock unlimited practice exams.
Can I retake the baseline?
The baseline is a one-time assessment to establish your starting point. After your baseline, use topic exams to improve specific areas. Your topic scores update with each exam you take.
