How to Reset Your Password

Forgot your password? No problem. Follow these steps to reset it.

Reset Your Password

Step 1: Go to the Login Page

Visit statelicense.academy/login

Step 2: Click "Forgot Password?"

Below the login form, you'll see a link that says "Forgot your password?" Click on it.

Step 3: Enter Your Email Address

Enter the email address associated with your account and click "Send Reset Link".

Step 4: Check Your Email

You'll receive an email from support@statelicense.academy with a password reset link. This usually arrives within 1-2 minutes.

Don't see the email? Check your spam/junk folder. If it's still not there, make sure you entered the correct email address.

Step 5: Click the Reset Link

Click the "Reset Password" button in the email. This will open a new page where you can create a new password.

Step 6: Create a New Password

Enter your new password and confirm it. Your password must:

  • Be at least 8 characters long
  • Contain at least one uppercase letter
  • Contain at least one lowercase letter
  • Contain at least one number

Step 7: Log In with Your New Password

After setting your new password, you'll be redirected to the login page. Log in with your email and new password.

Change Your Password (While Logged In)

If you're already logged in and want to change your password:

  1. Go to your Dashboard
  2. Click on "Settings" or your profile icon
  3. Select "Change Password"
  4. Enter your current password
  5. Enter and confirm your new password
  6. Click "Save Changes"

Troubleshooting

Reset link expired

Password reset links expire after 1 hour for security. If your link expired, simply request a new one by clicking "Forgot Password?" again.

Email not received

If you don't receive the reset email:

  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • Make sure you entered the correct email address
  • Wait 5-10 minutes (sometimes emails are delayed)
  • Try requesting the reset again
  • If still no email, contact support

Can't remember my email address

If you can't remember which email you used to create your account, try all email addresses you commonly use. If you still can't access your account, contact our support team with your name and any purchase information you have.

Security Tips

  • Use a unique password that you don't use for other websites
  • Consider using a password manager to create and store strong passwords
  • Never share your password with anyone
  • Change your password if you suspect your account has been compromised
